Proposed change to Holway Park Community Primary School 2026-27

Overview

We are asking for your views on plans to extend Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision in Holway Park Community Primary School in Shakespeare Avenue, Taunton.

In partnership with the governing body of the school, Somerset Council proposes to increase the number of specialist places at the school’s SEN unit from 40 to 50 from September 2026.

We believe that this proposal will help the school better respond to the needs of children and young people who live in the locality.

We want to hear from you if you are a pupil, parent, carer, staff member, or local resident with an interest in the school.

We would like to know if you support the proposal and if you have any comments that we should consider.
