LNRS Community Seed Fund Application Form
Overview
The LNRS Community Seed Fund responds to the launch of the Somerset Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) - a county-wide framework that identifies Somerset’s most valuable existing habitats, highlights opportunities to restore and connect spaces for nature, and sets out priority outcomes for recovery. Read about Somerset’s LNRS here.
Grants will be awarded to projects that support nature recovery by delivering LNRS priorities. This may include habitat creation or enhancement aligned with the LNRS Local Habitat Map, and/or targeted action to support one or more LNRS priority species (Chapter 4.3J in the LNRS Statement of Biodiversity Priorities). Projects must also demonstrate clear community benefit.
We strongly recommend reading the Guidance for Applicants - Community Seed Fund.pdf before starting your application to ensure your project meets the eligibility criteria.
