Proposed change to Oaklands Primary School 2026-27

Overview

We are asking for your views on plans to increase the number of specialist places (from 14 to 32) at Oaklands Primary School at Preston Grove in Yeovil from the next academic year.

We are asking this because Somerset Council and the school’s governing body want to make sure local children and young people can get the support they need closer to home.

We want to hear from you if you are a pupil, parent, carer, staff member, or local resident with an interest in the school.

We would like to know if you support the proposal and if you have any comments that we should consider.
