We are asking for feedback on a proposal to amend detailed off-site emergency planning arrangements for Hinkley Point B. Hinkley Point B stopped generating electricity in 2022 and is now being decommissioned. In January 2026, the site was declared fuel free. EDF Energy reviewed the site and concluded that radiation levels are now low enough that detailed emergency planning is no longer needed.
